Guest EXPAT Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 A new survey says that just over 7% of men who watched bareback porn were led to have unprotected sex by watching it. What was more shocking to me was that 25% of respondents had videotaped themselves having sex, and half of them had uploaded it to the internet. Quote
Members Lucky Posted August 9, 2012 Members Posted August 9, 2012 No, bareback porn does not make me want to do it. I understand the health aspects. But, I admit that I do like to watch bareback porn. My hope is that the actors are all HIV negative. Don't forget, many of us grew up thinking that bareback was the natural order of things. Thus we became rather attached to it. Quote
Guest EXPAT Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 I also suspect that a lot of the younger gay crowd (under 25) do it more frequently because they never saw anyone die of AIDs and most people who have HIV today are living healthy lives. That is a dangerous proposition I think to assume. . . Quote

Since 1984 I have not received a dick in my ass that wasn't covered! "NO GLOVE, NO LOVE!" Quote
Guest FourAces Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Well as someone who promotes the Bareback Channel I have mixed feelings about this topic. I believe its the responsibility of each person to make up his own mind however I also feel its important that the school system is educating the students on possible issues with this behavior. Quote
TotallyOz Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Maybe it is just me, but I love to watch hard core action flicks. But, when I do, I have ZERO desire to dive fast, shoot up the city or anything else. Quote

That is a dangerous proposition I think to assume. . . I don't, but my experience living in NYC is in line with EXPAT. Virtually everybody there 25 or under (OK, actually, far fewer of the professional escorts; but almost everybody else who is in it for little or no money) comports with that description. Quote
Guest FourAces Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Getting ready to update my blog I was looking through xtube as usual. There are so so so many bareback vids .... if I had to put it in percentages I'd say 75% or even higher. And these are not professional they are the amateurs. I never really paid that much attention in the past to the xtube vids I post being bareback or not. But when I have run polls overwhelmingly my visitors want to see it raw. Quote
Guest hitoallusa Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Young people willing to do bareback in porn suggests that bareback is prevalent. Some young kids around me are HIV+ but tell other people they are neg. Some get mad at me for advising them to take care of themselves and be honest to their sex partners. I know it's not my business but I do care. In order to protect myself, I take two extreme protective measures to protect myself and it seems to work. I don't go around telling people who's positive but it hurts when young people don't care about other gays. One irony is that the same gay guy intentionally infect others is fighting for gay rights... I really don't understand his mind set... Quote
