As Totally Oz encourages us to focus elsewhere, and rightly so, I think, it leads to the question of why you post here if it is not to speak about another website. For me, the reason is that I like the interaction, I like the things I learn, I like to provoke and be provoked, and I like the eroticism of the pictures and the stories about time spent with escorts. Fights are not of particular interest to me, although I don't shy from one if needed. It seems that most boards end up with some negative interaction. And the fact is that the more participants, the more fun I get out of it. So, it is in my interest to encourage others to post here. I am happy to see the new posters here this week. I ask of them, if you can not post about Daddy's, then what would you like to talk about? (Granted, we are not banned from talking about Daddy's. But a website has to be more than that.) And for those who post here without regard to the other site, what brings you here and what keeps you here? I want to talk about places others have traveled to, clubs they have gone to, places and events in the news that are of interest to all of us. I have zero interest as to why that other site went on vacation. It is simply none of my business. For now, I find this site a rather calm and peaceful place to hang my hat. I will probably stay until the Admin escorts me to the exit. The pictures of the young boys are nice, but I have files and files of those that have been compiled over the years, and after awhile, for me at least, been there done that! When I met him I really didn't know much of the community that he had created and he asked me to join and participate and I did. From that site, I met many great guys in person that have become dear friends. I travel with some. I meet up with some around the world and I still engage with many of them. When Hooboy's site closed, we started this one and moved the conversations here. I participate here because I truly value the men on this forum and I respect their opinions. All in all, I have to say that the friendships I have developed on this site will be ones that I hope to be involved with when I get to my "Golden Girls" years. Originally, when I frequented Hooboy, it was truly to learn and contribute to the world of escorting and adult male entertainment (strip clubs and porn). I have primarily other avenues of "being satisfied" these days, so that's less important to me, and I can't contribute as much about escorting because I rarely hire anymore. Most of my relationships are long term ones, or those found in social networks such as clubs and interactive social media sites. So why do I still come. I think it's because I can interact here with specific and unique group of people on a variety of topics, whether it be porn, travel, mainstream entertainment, and yes, hot men. These are people who share a common interest with me that's not true in any other circle of friends that I have. These men are, like me, interested in finding sex and beauty in the male form that is accessible to us. That "fraternity" is unique to me, and so it's interesting to come and chat regardless of topic, because there's something liberating about talking about any subject with other people who have very similar desires and perspectives in an area that's not commonly talked about with others.
