I never thought I'd live to see this happen. But, in today's Pride Parade in Salt Lake City, over 300 straight Mormons marched in support. Read the full story at:

You're spot on with that observation. But, the Prop 8 support was at the highest level of the Mormon Church and that where we have a problem.

The actions today were grassroots. Personally, I believe the grassroots support will eventually influence the "official" stance of the Mormon church.

You're right, it is a good sign, but I remain skeptical until the higher levels and prominent Mormons (Romney and Orson Scott Card, for example) come around.

Card has gotten downright whacky in his dottage. That's sad because I enjoyed his early work (the later stuff shows an increasingly disorganized mind, IMHO).

I was just saying to someone, it's funny, both the Mormons and Target gave a large amount of money to anti-gay causes, but are now doing "marketing" to get us back... because they want *our money*. Fuck everything about that!
