My friend Geo Louis is releasing his third music single on June 1st on iTunes. This song is called "Stand Up". His first two singles were dance song’s, “Stand Up” focuses on spreading the message of change. The black eye on the cover symbolizes how he felt beat down by the music industry because of his sexuality, through his music he can now “Stand Up” against it. They really tried to make him keep his sexuality private or they wouldn't promote him. Even Adam Lambert said in a recent interview that this is very apparent throughout the music industry which is why it was such a big deal that Adam's second album debuted at #1 this week as the first openly gay artist to do so.
