I decided to rent "W.E." which is Madonna's directorial debut that basically got trashed. But I have to say I really enjoyed it.

I don't think a movie does have to be a hit to be enjoyable. I'm glad that you liked it. I might try it out too. ^_^

I avoided it at the theatre because it was so trashed by the critics. But I think a lot of critics think they can't be taken seriously unless they badmouth people like Madonna who try a new field of work. . .

I regret that now because this was really interesting and well done in my opinion.
