Guest hitoallusa Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 I am not talking about religion here but want to say what a great model he is for christians. We need more people like in our community. Happy Easter~~~ http://gma.yahoo.com/blogs/abc-blogs/gods-quarterback-tebowing-easter-220913053--abc-news-topstories.html Quote
Guest EXPAT Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 I agree. I just wish politicians wouldn't "use" him for political posturing. That drives me nuts. Quote

Members MsGuy Posted April 9, 2012 Members Posted April 9, 2012 LOL, well he has said that he's saving his virginity for marriage. Not exactly Joe Namath. Quote
Guest EXPAT Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 That's interesting. I also had a gaydar moment with him as well. It does seem that many closeted Christians dive more into religious habits when trying to cover their homosexuality. It will be interesting to see how he evolves. Now that he's in NY maybe he'll be exposed to more variety. . . Quote
Members RA1 Posted April 9, 2012 Members Posted April 9, 2012 He certainly is not the first athlete, pro or amateur, to pray on the playing field and, hopefully, not the last. However, I wonder how Georgetown, TX came into the picture. I have been to this town several times and never noticed anything "special" about it. It is a town, not a city. To gather 15,000 folks, they had to come from miles around, not unusual for west Texas or many places in the further west, but, again, why GTU? Best regards, RA1 Quote
