Thanks, lurkerspeaks. I am glad we were able to get together. You will get a full, confidential report on Rio.

Perhaps I need to meet up with my friends MsGuy and Lookin to rekindle the warmth!

I forgot part of the story. Former Oakland A's pitcher Rollie Fingers

2010-11-06-10-59-18-8-rollie-fingers-the-former-relief-pitcher-in-major.jpeg

was at the stadium, selling his autograph. For $20, you got a cheap ball and his personal autograph, signed right in front of you. For $40, you got an official Major League baseball. Guess which one I picked?

So, naturally, I checked Rollie's signature on the web, and it was the exact same, even the notation that he entered the Hall Of Fame in 1992:

Not sure if Rollie felt it was a comedown selling his signature for $20 minus the cost of the ball, but I can't say that he seemed too happy. I think his career preceded the big bucks careers the kids have now. But, I am glad that I got it.
