Members Lucky Posted February 24, 2012 Members Posted February 24, 2012 Some airlines are making it possible for you to pick the person who sits next to you on the plane. The details seem to be hard to work out, say what do you do if the person you pick doesn't pick you?- but in the pic that accompanies the article, I pick the guy on the right. But the guy on the left would do too! The Article Itself Wonder why they used two guys in the photo? Very gay! Quote
Guest hitoallusa Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Don't you think the airlines will probably get sued for all sorts of reasons if they let this happen? I won't allow myself to be picked last as it happened in my gym classes! Lucky you have to come out of retirement and represent me and other unfortunate emotionally distressed people! Maybe MsGuy and Oz can join as co-counsels. Lookin you can be our court sketcher. Please make sure that my shoes are highlighted in your sketch. Thanks. Quote

Guest lurkerspeaks Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 this is a terrible idea. As the "fat guy" I would most likely be last man standing everytime. Quote
Guest EXPAT Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 I think it's Virgin Atlantic and Virgin America you can now chat with other passengers through the in-flight entertainment system. Isn't that the same as a one of those bars from the 70's that had phones on each table and you could call that table? Quote
Members JKane Posted February 24, 2012 Members Posted February 24, 2012 70s? There are still bars like that, except now it's emails between tables. I think there is one of them at Hollywood and Highland. Quote
Members Lucky Posted February 25, 2012 Author Members Posted February 25, 2012 Telephone Bar in Bangkok still has phones on each table, allowing you to call the table of the guy you want. No one ever called me! Quote
Guest lurkerspeaks Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 I can picture it now.. my phone would ring.. it would be a wrong number Quote
