For music fans anywhere and in particular gay men who follow the divas of music will find it interesting that Madonna and Whitney re-enter Billboard's Top 10 singles chart once again next week. Madonna moves up to #10 with her new single "Give Me All Your Luvin'". And Whitney Houston re-enters the top 10 at #7 with her former #1 song "I Will Always Love You". Billboard recently changed the rules that allow older songs to re-chart if they sell enough or get enough airplay to re-enter the Billboard Hot 100 in the top half of the chart.

And it appears that this next week, Whitney's song will probably move up a bit further as it is selling like gangbusters on iTunes and Amazon digital. In addition her Greatest Hits package has also been selling off the shelf as well (in digital format).

Another remarkable music sales feet this week is Adele. After winning 6 of 6 Grammy's last weekend, her album "21" will sell nearly 800,000 more copies this week after 1 year already on the chart. That would make it the biggest selling week of the entire year chart run. She has sold nearly 7 million copies in the US alone which makes the biggest selling album for almost 10 years. She deserves it. It's an amazing collection of amazing songs.

That's your music update for the day.
