My opinion is have one now and have another if we ever pull out of Afghanistan. But I don't live in NY, so I'm interested in how people with ties to the city feel. Which does make me wonder about one in LA, but we're really not much of a parade city... I can't imagine an LA-wide parade, just community based ones like Pride or Rose. Quote

So I think that is enough and during those parades they can emphasize the newer vets just coming home. I know a lot of smaller towns will have a small parades for local heroes. And that probably makes sense. Quote
