Guest EXPAT Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 This video is very heartwarming and it is from a Republican on the state floor in Washington (state of) during their debate on gay marriage. And obviously when this issue hits home it changes your perspective. If you watch any YouTube videos today this is the one to watch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbmbdWK6338 Quote
Guest EXPAT Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 This video is circulating all over Facebook and the internet social media. It's such a great video. I hope everyone takes a look. Quote
Members OneFinger Posted February 11, 2012 Members Posted February 11, 2012 Touching. Moving. Cuts to the heart of the issue. And, this from a Republican???? If they all felt like this I might consider switching parties. Quote
Guest EXPAT Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 I wanted to bump this up again. I think every gay man and especially every straight person should watch this video especially if they are questioning gay marriage legislation. Quote
Members JKane Posted February 12, 2012 Members Posted February 12, 2012 Finally watched, that was great. Sheesh, this week JC Penny, Howard Stern, and a republican state rep have all spoken eloquently on our behalf. I guess it really does get better! Quote
Guest hitoallusa Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 It will get better if gays truly care for other gays. I believe if we can achieve that then this nonsense will eventually stop. We lack positive acts that reaches out to other gays. As I have said numerously before we lack inner force and role models. It's changing a little bit. Let's recover our self esteem and do what's right. If someone is precious to you then you should also help that person do the right thing rather than being an accomplice to bad deeds. When we are strong and healthy we don't need approval. It will come naturally. Quote
