Guest pingalicker Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 I stayed at Two-Guy's Guesthouse in Pattaya and was most welcomed by owner Stewart and staff Cho and Lek. They were great source's of information, my room was large and wonderful. The daily folks who stop by for breakfast, or talk, were also most helpfull with any questions I had and were a great source for "local knowledge". The best bars in my opion were in Sunnee Plaza, Krazy Dragon and Happy Boys or Happy Bar. Both had friendly (not pushy) boys who danced on tables in front of you, making for most interesting times. The daily motorbike to the beach proved to be exciting, fun, relaxing, and interesting. I always started out with a massage, then relaxed in a rented beach chair covered by a large beach umbrella. Vendors of all sorts walk by offering fresh fruit (very good & only 20 baht), seafood, the usual T-shirts & jewerly, but also boys themselves. I'm on Koh Samui now, where the rain has made it a bit difficult, but poncho & motorbike and away I go. Corner Guy bar has closed, K-club bar is fun and the new bar in Lamai called "One of Us" is great. Pool table there with friendly boys. All my best to Wolfgang, the new owner, who is most friendly and helpfull. Visited Boy Zone last night, but it was early, have to go back tonight at 1am for the show to see all the boys they have to offer there. Nice place though. Pingalicker Quote
Guest Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 Glad you had a good time in Pattaya. It is a fun place for sure. I'll be interested to find out what you think of your next city. Quote
Guest pete1969 Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 PL, we hear very little about Samuai, so I am very interested to hear about your trip and the bars there. Pete Quote
Guest pingalicker Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 This is my 6th visit to Koh Samui, have a friend who worked at "Corner Guy Bar" which is now closed (to be reopened at a different location later on I'm told) who now works at K-club. So I usually start off there, have drinks with the boys, or dinner or lunch, or all three. Last night I went to Samui Stadium for kick-boxing (It was great!) and then went to Boy Zone to watch the show. It started promptly at 1am as promised, but the boys were very pushy, and that gets under my skin real easily. I left right after the show, there where approx 15 customers there, and they were enjoying themselves. Back to K-club for a late night rendouvous. Walked thru the Green Mango Disco one night, but all the bars are sparsely populated by customers. I has been raining here every day since my arrival 5 days ago, the last 2 days basically non-stop rain, so that curtails a lot of activities. It's back to BKK on Thursday, and I'm ready for some MEN and great shows there! Quote
