Guest EXPAT
http://www.afterelton.com/content/2012/02/voice-recap-i-wanna-be-dudes-lover AfterElton did a great recap of last night's "The Voice". One of the hottest boys was not selected though. I'd do him. He just didn't have a strong enough voice but I'm sure diva Christina could have worked with him. I am not a huge fan of reality shows there are a small handful I do enjoy. Somehow I saw this seasons premier and well ummm I like the show. I did see the sex bomb who did not get selected. He goes to Yale I believe and was the teams quarterback. His Dad briefly played pro ball for the Redskins quit and wrote / recorded a popular religious song. Anyway the kid has a awesome body and a sexy Louisianian accent
Guest EXPAT
I bet he will be asked back. At the end of last season they invited back 6 or 7 to audition again that didn't get selected and a few did. I bet he gets selected the next time. He would be popular with the young girls, young gay boys and older dirtier old men ;-)
Guest FourAces
Oh I didn't watch last season so didn't know a few get a second chance. I agree he is way too cute not to have his second chance at the end of the season. I think if he sang shirtless it might help
Guest EXPAT
I'm really enjoying "The Voice". They are in the battlegrounds now and this is the recap from last night. It's one of the few enjoyable singing competition shows out there. http://www.afterelton.com/tv/recaps/the-voice-battle-rounds-
TotallyOz
I watched this and thought to myself, why are these guys SO MUCH better than any of the ones on American Idol? Is it age? Experience? What gives? The older black guy, 51 years old, was incredible. I just loved his voice. He will be missed! I don't even see a close comparison between the singers in this and Idol. Anyone? I couldn't agree more. These singers are far more talented. I also think they all have more experience than the "new talent" discovered for Idol. Only Jessica Sanchez may come close on Idol from this season. I think it is nice that Kelly Clarkson is one of the mentors on "The Voice" because she is a super talent. But talking about the talent of the 51 year old, it makes me want The Voice to have wild cards like Idol does. Maybe they'll bring back a couple that were eliminated? Guest FourAces
I think its a better show because it does focus on talent not gimmicks or image. American Idol is very scripted with judges with dubious talent. The Voice team captains are all accomplished singers. The blind auditions assures the quality of talent must be there .. all the flakes are filtered out prior to hitting the auditions. Whereas American Idol will through some whacky people in for ratings. I dislike American Idol in all the years its been on maybe watched 3 or 4 episodes. The Voice I am now following each week.
