Members Lucky Posted February 6, 2012 Members Posted February 6, 2012 Great Lakes products, one of the largest company in the manufacturing of poppers, a drug popular with gay men, is headquartered in Indianapolis. Quicksilver was one if its brands. The owner of the company, widely reputed to be a pedophile, committed suicide last year. Quote
Guest CharliePS Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 I believe that the original, "real" poppers, were made by Eli Lilly, which is also headquartered in Indianapolis. Quote
Members Lucky Posted February 7, 2012 Author Members Posted February 7, 2012 I once bailed that deadbeat popper guy out of jail since the sheriff had word that the inmates were going to beat the crap out of him. He never paid me back the $1000, even after he became quite wealthy sending fumes up peoples' noses. Quote

Members MsGuy Posted February 7, 2012 Members Posted February 7, 2012 Believe it or not, lucky is actually a kindly soul with a big heart. LOL, deny it as he may (& he certainly will), I know it's the truth! Quote
caeron Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 Hey Lucky, My doctor says I'm a gonna die if I don't take an immediate all expenses paid trip to Rio for my, um, health. Help a brother out? Quote

Members Lucky Posted February 7, 2012 Author Members Posted February 7, 2012 I don't know why I posted about that creep. I guess cuz Indy was the topic. He was in a jail in a farm county and they didn't take kindly to gays there, especially gays in on a child molesting charge. (He wasn't convicted, btw, the charges were dropped.) But it took a thousand bucks to bail him out and no one else would step forward, except Sucky.) No, that's not a typo. I was a sucker! Later I would have paid $1000 to see the inmates beat him up. How much was a thousand dollars in 1978? Quote
Guest CharliePS Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 How much was a thousand dollars in 1978? It was 10% of my gross income that year. Quote
Members MsGuy Posted February 7, 2012 Members Posted February 7, 2012 How much was a thousand dollars in 1978? 20 to 40 blowjobs, depending on venue, not inclusive of incidental expenses. Quote

Members Lucky Posted February 7, 2012 Author Members Posted February 7, 2012 I hadn't thought of it in those terms. I moved to LA in 1979 and on Santa Monica Boulevard, a BJ was $50, but you had to make him remove the chewing gum first! Quote
