Guest EXPAT Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Facebook finally filed for IPO today. Read about it here: http://dealbook.nytimes.com/2012/02/01/facebook-files-for-an-i-p-o/?hp Will you put Facebook in your stock portfolio? I think it might be a good short term play. But I am looking forward to reading the detail in the filing and then of course the first quarter results which will now have to be public. I want to fully understand their revenue model. Quote

Guest EXPAT Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Here is the full IPO submission to the SEC. It's a very interesting document outlining how they make money and just how big they really are. I would never have imagined that they made $1 billion in profit last year already. http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1326801/000119312512034517/d287954ds1.htm Quote
