The foundation, which she co-founded with her mother Cynthia Germanotta, was formed to promote youth self-confidence and help stop bullying. “My daughter’s foundation was born out of her passion to create a better world where people are kinder and nicer to one another and are accepted for who they are, regardless of how different they may be,” Mother Monster’s own mother said in a statement. In related news, Gaga’s efforts for the LGBTA community were acknowledged again earlier today with a nomination for Outstanding Music Artist at the GLAAD Media Awards. Quote
