Guest EXPAT Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Are you ready for Madonna at the Superbowl Half-Time show? Here is the first commercial announcing the performance. Quote
Guest EXPAT Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 And for those Madonna fans. She is debuting portions of her new music video on Thursday during American Idol. And yesterday she released the cover of her new single and her new album. The first pic below is the album cover and the second is the single cover. Quote

TotallyOz Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 I love Madonna and spent one year following her from concert to concert. I think she is incredible and puts on a great show. My favorite moment of her was at the Roxy in NYC and I was front row and she shook my hand! What a night! Quote
Guest EXPAT Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Superbowl Press conference today including Madonna Quote
Guest EXPAT Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Here is the premiere video of Madonna's new song "Give Me All Your Luvin'" with M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj. It has a football theme, what a shock. She will be singing this live during the half-time show Sunday. Sorry, Madonna, I'm a big fan but I'm not lovin' this track or video. And I hate hate hate this trend to add hip hop and rap stars to pop songs. It's lazy and takes away from your own style. Please don't do this again. Quote
Guest EXPAT Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 AfterElton did their list of their Top 100 Madonna songs of all time. I'd have to agree completely with their list. I'm surprised how closely their list and mine would have been. http://www.afterelton.com/music/2012/02/100-greatest-madonna-songs?page=1%2C0 Quote

Guest EXPAT Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 She did an excellent job. It was entertaining with lots of special guests. I love the fact that she sang "Like A Prayer" at the end - one of my all time favorite songs. Members KYTOP Posted February 6, 2012 Members Posted February 6, 2012 She did an excellent job. It was entertaining with lots of special guests. I actually thought her Lip Sink of her singing during the halftime show was very obvious and almost annoying at times. Quote
Guest rohale Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 It's interesting to see some entertainment critics giving Madonna high praise for her performances. No doubt fans of Madonna are voicing high praise. I notice there is a disparity out there, I was driving to work on monday morning and had the radio tuned to a sports radio station from San Diego. The people calling in were making remarks about the superbowl coupled with Madonna's performance. Most of the callers thought her performance was either average or below average. Quote
Members Lucky Posted February 7, 2012 Members Posted February 7, 2012 I love Madonna and spent one year following her from concert to concert. I think she is incredible and puts on a great show. My favorite moment of her was at the Roxy in NYC and I was front row and she shook my hand! What a night! OMFG!!!! I have touched the hand that was touched by Madonna! OMG! OMG! God has smiled on the world. And to think that same hand touched Ricky Cruz. OMG Quote
TotallyOz Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 OMFG!!!! I have touched the hand that was touched by Madonna! OMG! OMG! God has smiled on the world. And to think that same hand touched Ricky Cruz. OMG LOL and if you were a really good friend, you would let everything of mine that touched Ricky, touch you. That's what friends do Lucky! I love her performance and all my friends did as well. I was at a party and the entire group was mesmerized. Everyone was saying how fantastic it was. Quote
Members Lucky Posted February 7, 2012 Members Posted February 7, 2012 Now my goal is to touch the guy who slacklined for Madonna's half-time show. And to think I had never heard of slacklining before now. Quote
TotallyOz Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 Now my goal is to touch the guy who slacklined for Madonna's half-time show. And to think I had never heard of slacklining before now. LOL. If you do, will you wash your hands before shaking mine again? I ask only because when I touched Madonna, I think I went a month without washing anything. Quote
Members Lucky Posted February 7, 2012 Members Posted February 7, 2012 The urge to touch someone who we find sexually desirable is an odd one. Sure, we make physical contact, but where does that leave us? Unless,of course, you touch Madonna, whereupon your whole life is changed! Quote

Guest EXPAT Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Ryan Seacrest interviewed Madonna this morning and talked about her performance and of course M.I.A.'s middle finger fiasco. Listen here: http://ryanseacrest.com/2012/02/10/madonna-says-m-i-as-digit-malfunction-was-a-teenager-irrelevant-thing-to-do-audio/ She calls M.I.A.'s middle finger a teenager irrelevant thing to do.
