Guest EXPAT
Given the deep ditch that Bush put us in with a war that wasn't paid for, this trend is not bad.
Members TampaYankee
No, it's not bad but it is not good either. It could have been significantly better if the GOP had not acted as obstructionists for purely political reasons. The GOP has refused to join Obama in economic programs and legislation that they have clearly supported in the past under other presidents of both parties, such as infrastructure iimprovements. Not sure the electorate sees that clearly.
Guest EXPAT
Agree completely. Also for a GOP who believes that only the private sector can create jobs, why are there so many of them running for President?

Guest EXPAT
And I don't want one right now (fortunately).
Guest EXPAT
And we added 325,000 jobs in December. I'm sure many were holiday oriented jobs. But still a good number. http://www.marketwatch.com/story/us-private-payrolls-swell-in-december-2012-01-05?link=MW-FB
Members Lucky
But they are mostly low-paying jobs, jobs that cannot support a family.
