Has any person used priceline for their airfare from the states and for hotel in Bangkok? If so please share your experience.

I used it earlier this year for a hotel in Bangkok. I got the Millenium Hilton, on the river, for $100 a night. That was a bargain then, but with the floods I see hotel rates down for this January.

At biddingfortravel.com, a website advising on Priceline bids, one poster reported getting the Holiday Inn Silom next month for 4 nights at $49 a night. That's pretty good, and indicates other bargains are there to be found.

Thank you for website tip.

You are welcome. I use that site a lot, but it is not particularly helpful for Thailand, is it?

Not so much but it has a wealth of information on how to use Priceline. I'm learning a lot.
