Members pauleiro
Went tuesday night around 1.30 pm at Km Zero, Av Santa Fé 2516. Moderate activity, but on monday and tuesday, like in many other places, things are rather slow everywhere. Cabaret show with a couple of transvestites. Not bad. But I was unable to understand what they said and why it was funny, but local people loved the show and laughed a lot. Bad accoustics, noise in the room, usage of slang words, play of words in spanish(for example between "account" and "vagina" in a sketch). Too much for me to understand. Show did not last long. No strippers. Monday is the strippers night and I should have come the previous day. Km Zero is right in Santa Fé where taxi boys can be found and some do come to Km Zero in the middle of the night. I did not see many of them. Imagined that a cute boy was a taxi boy and followed him in the toilets, but he was a customer ... A real taxi boy had followed me in the toilets (orelse why would he have said "tu eres guapo" (you are cute) ?), but no interest from my side. The Argentinan friend who was with me showed me a couple of other taxi boys, including one of whom he said the he was known for stealing ... But he was in the club. No interest from my side of course. Left at 3 am and walked Avenida Santa Fe back to the center. Many taxis in the steet. Many homeless people also, sleeping in the front of the shops. Boywise, no activity was visible. A couple of bars or restaurants (including one catering gay people : Madeleine on Santa Fe) were still opened. Last tip: it is advised NOT to take the taxis waiting outside Km Zero. I was told was a few times the taxi driver, knowing that the customer was gay and might be willing to have some sex, took a lonesome passenger to a remote place and proposed sex to him. Of course it was not the best looking taxi driver from what I heard. So better to take any taxi in the street. Another disco which is supposed to be very good is called Contramano and is not far from Km Zero. But it is only opened during the week ends. So I will not be able to visit the place until next visit ...
Members axiom2001
Enjoyed the read. Thanks! If you desire and have the time, you might wish to checkout Drey's site @ www.gaytravelargentina.com and selectively read what your heart desires. Although the postings have been slight during 2011, there is some timely information re: clubs, restaurants, escorts, etc. in Buenos Aires. Many of the previous postings are from me; I did not write about the five days I spent in Buenos Aires last month. In looking back I truly wish that my friend and I could have extended our visit.
