At the very top, as might be expected, are the admins, Tampa Yankee with 4438 posts, and Totally Oz with 3811. Yours truly is at 3006. But next is BiBottom Boy, who is currently not posting. He has 2472. Another missing poster is next, AdamSmith with 1829. On sick leave is zipperzone with 1419. Then we have an active poster, MsGuy with 1414. We drop a few hundred to get to the next on the list, Marc Anthony with 1144. Right behind him is FourAces, who just returned after a long absence, yet ranks ninth at 1138. EXPAT makes the top ten at an even 1000. Right behind him, though, is the long absent Stu Cotts at 931. So, just an interesting thing to note, our top posters made the list despite taking lots of time off. Should be easy enough for someone to beat that, eh? The top active posters are TY, Oz, Lucky, MsGuy, FourAces and EXPAT. Honorable mention to lurkerspeaks, who no doubt will soon be in the top ten. Did I miss anyone? Guest lurkerspeaks Posted November 1, 2011 Share Posted November 1, 2011 I thought I was the only competitive one here who watched the overall top poster page...I have strived to make it to the top 15, then the top 12.. and soon, the top 10.. and, not to blow my own horn (but no one else has blown anything of mine lately), I joined a year after the start up of the site, where most of the top 10 were posting from the inauguration of the site. I want to post as much as possible, but at the same time, I don't want to make meaningless, boring posts. I try to interject something worthwhile in a conversation, or start a new one..or at the very least, supply some interesting visuals for all to enjoy.. That kind of explains any sporadic behavior you might find in my posting habits. My absences tend to be shorter and frequent and mainly due to being on the road and otherwise occupied. I love this site and try my best to keep up with sharing of information and such... but even my modus operandi of finding companion(s) has changed, such that usually now I find them in clubs and via friends of friends on facebook, etc etc. And actually have a "steady" for the last year or so who really makes me happy. So I have done very little hiring or strip club hopping (maybe one hire this entire year and one visit to a strip club all year...) so no longer have as much to contribute in terms of information in those areas. He did post after his illness, and he was still recuperating. I must say I have to agree with lurkerspeaks that quantity is no match for quality...and there lies the question of where Lookin fits into all of this! Many regulars are old timers now and have moved on whereas other avenues and interactions have taken the place of the forums. I think this is just a natural progression for many. It was a commentary on how folks can get to the top here without actually being here that much. Not a very tough competition, is it? As the thread went along, it was pointed out that quantity isn't so important as quality. Again, kind of burns your idea that it is a "another competition." Hey, that's it. The thread that is most responded to is the one on why you hired your first escort. So, about 40% of posted threads get no response to speak of, but personal stories involving sex- well, they are a hit! So, once upon a time I went out with this statistics major. All night long he kept giving me the odds that we would end up in bed. He figured them for my place,then his place, or, of course, not at all. I remember those stats to this day. One is left wondering, though, based on the relatively small sample size, how many standard deviations appeared during the time you were together, and whether or not Chebyshev's inequality came to the fore.
