Members JKane Posted October 13, 2011 Members Posted October 13, 2011 It looks fairly laborious to use, but still, translation to/from 14 languages... including Brazilian Portuguese! Quote
Members RA1 Posted October 13, 2011 Members Posted October 13, 2011 Translating Portuguese definitely could be useful to various posters on this board. Is this the same device that is used in the advert with the boy mentioning to a villager that his grandfather was from there? Best regards, RA1 Quote
Guest lurkerspeaks Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 not sure about android, but I have the I=phone with A T & T.. likewise, there are various apps you can get to translate when out of the country.. But what they fail to tell you upfront, is how much you get charged for data roaming when out of the country...IMHO, that makes those programs pretty much useless to the average travelor. I have heard first hand horror stories of people who travel abroad and continue to use their smart phones as they do in the states, only to see a bill of $1000 or more when they get home. Quote
