Members Lucky Posted September 2, 2011 Members Posted September 2, 2011 As inflation takes hold in the Land of Smiles, government workers might be smiling to learn that their minimum wage has been raised to 15,000 baht. That's about $500 a month. So that bar boy making 1500 baht a night might be happy to know that he need only work ten days a month to keep up with the local clerk at the visa office! Thailand's consumer price index is up 4.29%, compared with 4.08% a year earlier. Source: WSJ Quote
Members RA1 Posted September 2, 2011 Members Posted September 2, 2011 Inflation never really helps anyone, it just seems to do so by "larger numbers". However, we all have to "adjust", don't we? Best regards, RA1 Quote
