BiBottomBoy Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 So what happens is a senator from Puerto Rico had shirtless and other sexy pics up on Grindr. Of course it came out, but instead of denying it like most politicians would he just responded: "You know I've been losing weight. As I shed that weight, I've been taking pictures." http://gawker.com/5834878/republican-politician-caught-naked-bending-over-on-gay-sex-site Quote
Members Lucky Posted August 28, 2011 Members Posted August 28, 2011 hitoallusa has already posted about this. He thought the guy was so cute. But read the comment in the Advocate, which I handily provided for you, and you may not be so quick to call him cool. I call him stupid. From the other post: You might not think he is so cute if you read the first comment on this Puerto Rican politician: I'm sorry to disagree but we proud gay Puerto Ricans want HIM to leave us alone. This is the same guy who consistently voted against same-sex marriage and energically proposed to ammend our Constitution to proclaim that legal marriage should be only considered as a union between man and woman. This is the same guy who has consistently joined forced with local fundamentalist leaders to persecute and diminish gay rights. This is the same guy that, presuming his manhood, harassed and bullied another senator for his (alleged) sexual orientation during a Senate session. So, Mister Arango, now you have been caught red-handed (on all fours, for God's sake) and neither your religious friends nor your Republican colleagues have done anything to save your sorry ass. I think he would stand above this scandal if he made a statement affirming his sexual orientation and accept his fault. Hopefully, as I write this, he may be signing his resignation letter. Quote
BiBottomBoy Posted August 28, 2011 Author Posted August 28, 2011 Sorry! I'm playing catch up and not sure what cool stuff I missed. Quote
Members Lucky Posted August 28, 2011 Members Posted August 28, 2011 You might have also missed the fact that this guy is married with a daughter. Now she has to go to school and hear all of the other kids talk about seeing her daddy's asshole on the computer. That's not so cool, is it? He's now resigned: Pedro Julio Serrano, founder of the gay rights group Puerto Rico for Everyone, said (Roberto)Arango voted in favor of Resolution 99, a proposal that would block any attempt to permit same-sex marriages in the U.S. territory. He also helped block a measure to ban sexual discrimination in the workplace and opposed adoption rights for gays. Wikipedia Quote
Guest hitoallusa Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Well that's what family is for. I'm pretty sure that the daughter will understand. Quote
BiBottomBoy Posted August 28, 2011 Author Posted August 28, 2011 At least the daughter will never have to be grossed out by imagining her parents having sex. Quote
Guest hitoallusa Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 I don't why I find a sex act between man and woman so strange to me. I can just like guys but it seems so weird that I don't want to have sex with a woman at all. Is it because of my conservative upbringing? Then sex with guys should be weird as well, right? What I can't understand is why a gay person would marry a woman in the first place??? Can they have a normal sex life? I don't think I can't and will get divorced within a year. At least the daughter will never have to be grossed out by imagining her parents having sex. Quote
Members Lucky Posted August 29, 2011 Members Posted August 29, 2011 Well that's what family is for. I'm pretty sure that the daughter will understand. She will, no doubt. I think she is about 5 years old. They understand by that age, don't they? I'm pretty sure. If not, he will explain to her why he showed his asshole on a gay sex site. Quote
Guest hitoallusa Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 She will get over it, I'm pretty much sure. I wish him and his family well. I hope he can start a great new life. She will, no doubt. BiBottomBoy Posted August 29, 2011 Author Posted August 29, 2011 hitoallusa, there are plenty of men who have sex with men who prefer men but who are fully capable of enjoying sex with a woman as well, they just like men better, they don't get grossed out by pussy. Quote
Members Lucky Posted August 29, 2011 Members Posted August 29, 2011 You know, hitoall likes to talk about the need for compassion. Many of us can understand that the legislator in question got himself into a pickle, but it's because of his own dishonesty. hitoall has no compassion for the wife and daughter- they just have to "get over it." But the wife no doubt feels betrayed, and I don't doubt embarrassed to have this marital trouble a national issue. But because she is "family" she just has to "get over it." How compassionate is that? And the daughter? No I don't know her age. She may now become the child of a broken marriage, living with one parent and not two. But get over it, girl. Hitoall doesn't care what problems you have. You're family. It's your job to let daddy have his indiscretions, even if the kids at school tease you mercilessly. Maybe you loved your parents and hate to see them break up. Get over it! No compassion for you. One reason hypocrisy among politicians is bad is because of the harm it causes when it is finally exposed. I have some compassion for the wife and daughter, not so much for daddy. He needs to get over himself. Quote
Guest hitoallusa Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 There are a lot married gays who don't know they are gay or suppress their sexuality until later in the marriage. Some of them know they are gay but forced themselves to be straight. They don't tell their wife that they are seeing escorts and men right away because they are confused and don't know what to do. We don't condemn them. We embrace them. Both message board members help married men cope with their situation without any judgment. Why can't we do that for this person? Because he is against gay people? There must be many reasons he is like that. Not only him but there are other politicians like him. I see some kind of pattern here, don't you? Let us help them to come out so they don't have to do awful things they are doing behind other people's back. Once they can see that we are tolerant and accepting people it might happen them change their mind. That's my point. Quote

It may be a good point, but it isn't what you have been saying. You didn't respond to a single point I made about this guy's wife and kid, who you think should just 'get over it." You didn't respond to the gap between your call for compassion and your lack of compassion for his family. You still can! Quote
Members Lucky Posted August 29, 2011 Members Posted August 29, 2011 I can see that the lawyer in me came out in that last post. You don't have to feel cross-examined, I just would like you to respond to the points I raised. Quote
Guest hitoallusa Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 I didn't mean it that way. The daughter will probably understand and get over it (discrimination against her for having a gay parent as you have stated for a concern). I'm sorry about the wife. I leave the matter up to them. Maybe the Roberto still loves her and etc. I don't want to get into their private life and I have no authority over their marriage. At least she knows now and hope she can make the best out of her life. Showing compassion to the wife doesn't mean that we have to punish or condemn him. I just hope the best for two of them and making the best decision out of a very difficult situation they are at. No, that's not your point. That's your revisionism. Members lookin Posted August 29, 2011 Members Posted August 29, 2011 According to this article, there are millions of species alive today. I believe that most, if not all, have assholes. But it seems that only modern homo sapiens are at all concerned with keeping theirs out of public view. Not all of us mind, and those who do mind have ancestors who didn't give it a second thought. Or so I am given to understand. Another oddity is that humans seem to be one of a very few, if not the only, species for whom the asshole, properly nurtured, can be the source of intense sexual pleasure. I can't recall ever hearing of a camel, as just one example, getting rimmed or taking it up the wazoo. These human singularities can't be coincidences, can they? Is there a lesson to be learned here? BiBottomBoy Posted August 29, 2011 Author Posted August 29, 2011 It could very well be that the guy is bi and that his wife knew about his taste for cock and that this will not hurt their marriage and that it will be such a minor scandal that it won't hurt their daughter at all. Or, it could be a shitstorm. You can't really ever know what goes on in other people's relationships. Quote
Members Lucky Posted August 29, 2011 Members Posted August 29, 2011 lookin, I don't mean to be an asshole about it, but shouldn't the asshole be given a thread on its own? Buried deep in here and hidden by our cheekiness, it might not get the attention it deserves. Quote
