Did Piers actually read the book?

Strange banter between a silly host and a restrained republican. Piers said that he read the book but I doubt it.

I'm sure like all of the other stuff, he received a summary of it. But while it was odd, they both got a lot of publicity over the incident. She is desperate to sell books since she has almost no other income and his ratings are awful so in this case for both of them any publicity is good publicity.
