Guest hitoallusa Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Aww the daughter is so cute. Well not all politicians are bad. Some are not smart enough and only think about their stomach. There is nothing we can do about that. We all can become like that once we are thrown in that environment. When everybody does it then it becomes a norm. We now need to think reasonably and act appropriately. I hope some politicians can give up some of their luxurious life style. At least use their own money for their personal expenses. When escorts can easily find a sugar daddy in DC is just so sad (Well good for escorts though). I will not say anything about hiring escorts but please use your OWN money. In that sense what S&P did is appropriate. Someone has to send out a strong warning. I do hope some politicians can wake up. Guest gcursor Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 You know hi...I agree that politicians did need a wake up too. However I still don't think anybody is awake. You still hear the same partisan in-fighting and finger-pointing going on as was done before. The stock market plunged huge today and politicians are still worried about how much money they can make and more photo opportunities. I WOULD like to say that this call woke up the United States however I'm pretty sure that's not the case. It's going to take some real hard jolts like the stock market plunging, S&P downgrading credit rating and a few other things before politicians are going to say "Okay...we're ready to talk. What can we do to fix matters?" They're not quite there yet unfortunately. gcursor Aww the daughter is so cute. Well not all politicians are bad.
