This site is indeed indicative of the paucity of topics and threads and posts. What could be the cause? Summer holiday? Outdoor activities? Folks weaning themselves from their computer? Scientists have also linked global warming to the drastic price jumps in gas as well. Everything all gets traced back to global warming. I'll let someone else take the lead on that this year if he so wishes. But it is disconcerting to come here each day and see that the new posts have just dribbled in. Summer offers many other opportunities for fun, but keeping things going here would only take minutes a day if everyone saw it as a fun part of their day to post on the board. Those who do so are to be thanked. Having said all that, where is zipperzone, or FourAces? We got Adam Smith back after an absence. Somehow we need to find out why people stop posting. We also have to do more to encourage new posters to stick around. I haven't checked the records, but the "boys" are not posting so much either. Bibottomboy and Beach Boy- please check in more often! If posting on the site were mandatory for each of your boyfriends, why we would never finish reading the new material! (Hey, just kidding there!) But, other than that, new ideas seem hard to come by. The other site is quite a bore at the moment as their members take some time off for summer fun too. Perhaps we can get some popular escorts and porn stars to donate their cum-filled underwear to the person who makes the most posts in one day. I thought that the pictures I posted labeled "Porn in my backyard" was pretty good myself. as to incentivizing the posts, i would exclude myself from that. I write on both sites, twitter and facebook as well as doing writing on the side. Yes, some of the material I re-use on both sites and some of it I've written before but people still laugh at it (I've been keeping a blog off and on for the past 5 years) but "incentivizing" it would not necessarily force me to write BETTER material ..just a lot more of it. ....here's an example At the last company I worked for, we had an improvisational troupe come in for 4 days and anybody could send them suggestions for ideas...if you were lucky you would get picked and the resulting "scene" would be recorded and posted on the WWW for everybody to see. I decided then and there that I WANTED people to see that I could write and to get 5 videos posted from my ideas. In a period of 3.5 days, I submitted over 500 suggestions (none of them were duplicates because I could remember what I was submitting). 3 of my ideas were turned into videos. 1 of them was "asked for by another person to be turned into a NEW video" so that counts as a 1/2. Missed the mark by 1.5. One of the videos mentioned me by first name before they started the sketch...that's when I knew I had hit my goal. So what's the point? I like writing. I don't have to have incentive to do it because I'm just creative that way. Besides I've had the option of bidding on people's used underwear and although I can see the fascination, it doesn't mean that much to me (not as much as writing at least). but that's just my 1/2 cents worth.. I know the frustration of feeling like you are in an empty room, of posting something that just withers without response. But lurkerspeaks just keeps on trucking, and I thank him for that. I read CNN a few times throughout the day but I just never got sucked into her "MEDIA VORTEX OF DOOM" before. So yesterday I read about her and I was like, "Um..oh" and I was going to post this on FACEBOOK and TWITTER but I didn't but I was gonna say, "Well if Bschman can do that with gays then maybe she'll want to convert some Jewish people or some Hispanics...maybe they want to try to become what Bachman perceives is "normal" as well..why narrow it down to gay?"
