TotallyOz
The Thailand Elections are TODAY! It is a very interesting race and the campaign has been funny to watch. The results of this race may build the bridges that have separated the Thai people but it may also destroy the country. All of this depends on whether or not the party that loses the election accepts the results. It should be interesting to see what happens. The results will be announces at 10PM tonight Bangkok time. Kentucky. She graduated from KSU (Kentucky State University) in Kentucky's Capital Frankfort. The papers here have been making much of it today and there are several Thai students attending KSU at present and they have been celebrating her election. I like her. I do know she is a puppet for her brother, but I hope that she is able to be her own woman and move out of his shadows. But, today, front page of the Bangkok Post says that she is getting a coalition to give amnesty to her brother. IMHO, a mistake so soon. She must earn the trust of the military elite and the royalists. Otherwise, she will be domed to the fate of her brother.
