Guest lurkerspeaks Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Ok, here's the deal. I answered an ad from backpage for a 4 handed massage here in Phoenix. We agreed upon a price of $160 for an hour's erotic massage. During the massage, they kept a commentary of how many minutes were left. After a satisfactory massage, I got dressed and paid. They repeated asked if I enjoyed it and if I would be calling them for another session. As soon as I exited their apartment, I checked my phone and saw that exactly 45 minutes had passed since I arrived. I knocked on the door and pointed out the time, and was basically told "too bad"..no apology and no offer of a partial refund. Then when I came home and emailed them expressing my unhappiness, they came up with the lame excuse that I was too heavy for the table and they were concerned for my well being.. funny how they didnt mention it before, during or after the massage when they were trying to get me to come back for more. I feel that I was ripped off. If they hadn't repeately said "20 minutes left, 10 minutes left, etc", I would say it could have been an honest mistake, but the appointment was for 9pm. I arrived at 9pm.. and I was out the door looking at my phone at 9:45.. Quote
Members alanalt Posted March 17, 2011 Members Posted March 17, 2011 I'm a little confused - you say you had a "satisfactory massage", so why feel the need to "get even"? Other than e-mailing them back to let them know that their dishonesty has cost them any further business from you, I'd leave it and move on. Not every escort/masseur is going to live up to one's expectations and, based on your description of the session, this particular incident doesn't seem bad enough to stew over... Alan Quote
Guest lurkerspeaks Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 I guess that it isnt a matter of unsatisfactory session (I have had worse that lasted the full hour), it is a matter that they lied about the time passed and didnt live up to their end of the business transaction--one hour of time/massage/etc for the agreed upon amount. I was joking about "getting even", it was more just a venting post for me..Why do service providers fail to understand some basic points of service?? Provide what you say you are going to provide. I can understand a little more if someone is traveling thru town with little to no chance of repeat business, but I would think that a local provider would realize the importance of happy customers = repeat customers Quote
Guest zipperzone Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Have you considered reporting it to your local Better Business Bureau? Quote
Members TampaYankee Posted March 17, 2011 Members Posted March 17, 2011 Post a review? Maybe here or at a massage site? Quote
Guest FourAces Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 So since you were not murdered just ripped off I guess one can consider Backpage a step up from Craigslist Lurker I know it can be frustrating but I agree with the others you seemed to enjoy the session and you pointed out to them they lied and they do not seem to care so just move on. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysdtyvRR2r4 Quote
