He has been in the background for the last few episodes..Even as Santana struggles with her sexuality, the show hasn't shown the effect on Sam.. Hopefully the plan that he does finally notice and therefore in his confused state decides to turn to a Dalton Warbler for advice/comfort/experimentation and they end up having wild and passionate sex in the back of a bus.
