While I'm there with my friend, we plan to rent and apartment in Rio de janeiro and take a few short weekend trips. He and I intend to travel to Porto Alegre and to Buenos Aires for a few days too. I plan to buy a Brasil Pass through www.brol.com and can get one which would allow me to travel to four places for the same amount if I were to do fewer; therefore, I would like to go to both Sao Paulo and to Bahia (Salvador) for at least four days each. I need a guide if I go to Sao Paulo. ...used Danilo when he was age 18. Now he is 23; his employment is unknown. Does he still guide periodically? If not, do you have any recommendations!!!! I am not sure his rates at this point but the last time I hired him, they were higher. He is worth every penny IMHO. He also has a great new car which is very comfortable. Quote
