Dragon Speaking for Mac

Has anyone tested the Dragon Dictate program? I have been using it for a couple of days and I really enjoy it.

In fact, over the past few days I have not typed any messages into the Male Escort Review forum. The program does have a learning curve. But it is pretty easy to get used to and it makes the Internet experience a little bit more fun.

The newest version of the program is going to be $199. For a limited time you can get it for $99.

I bought this for my boss's PC. It does take a it of learning but works pretty well.I would give it a 7 out of 10 for usefulness.

Now as a side note-a bit of a headache in my world.

She now wants to go Mac and does not have any idea the work that is going to be involved transfering all of our files over from her 2 PC's and one lappie into an apple system. Not only that but my lappie is used for research and then I transfer Data to one of her PC's.I ave no interest in anything from the cult of Jobs except perhaps aN Ipad.

Ughhhh! :hyper:

Here's how Apple says to do it.

Haven't used Boot Camp myself, so I can't vouch for Boot Camp Assistant. But I have used Apple's Migration Assistant for transferring files from one Mac to another Mac, and it couldn't be easier. If Boot Camp Assistant comes even close, it may not be as bad as you think.

Good luck! unsure.png > = > = > ermm.png

I do not think that this is going to be a difficult process for you. I transferred from a PC to a Mac many years ago. The first few weeks were difficult, but after that it was very easy.

Are you worried about transferring documents? If so, getting the latest version of Microsoft Office Suite for Mac means that there is no transfer loss.

If you were worried about transferring computer programs from the PC to the Mac, then that is a different story. At this time most software companies that make a program for PC will also make the same program from Mac. Most also are cross platform compatible.

I have used Boot Camp myself and it is okay. I much prefer Parallels. Parallels runs simultaneously the Mac operating system and the Microsoft Windows operating system.

I've also used Apple's migration assistant transferring from one Mac to another Mac and nothing has ever been simpler. I did not use it to transfer my PC to a Mac so I have no experience with that.

Lookin, have you ever tried Parallels? If not, and you like to be able to work on your PC and your Mac at the same time without shutting down your computer, I suggest given and try. I have been using it for years with no problems.

Back in the '90's, I vaguely recall getting Virtual PC running on a Mac, and that was the last time I needed or wanted to try. Have heard that Parallels is a good choice for folks who want to run both O/S's but, since Boot Camp comes free with the Mac, I thought it might be helpful in at least getting Windows files over to a Mac. I thought TPL was just looking to bring data files over for munching by Apple programs. But, if he's looking to bring Windows applications over too, I'm definitely out of my depth. unsure.png
