Guest wowpow Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Heavy rains, flash floods warning in 15 provinces BANGKOK: -- The Meteorological Friday morning warned residents of 15 provinces to brace themselves against heavy rains and flash floods. In its morning forecast issued at 4:30 am, the department said a depression storm, which was about 350 kilometres east of Vietnam, would influence the heavy rains in the 15 provinces Friday and Saturday. The provinces are Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Tak, Khamphaeng Phet, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buri Ram, Surin, Si Sa Ket, Ubol Ratchathani, Kanchanaburi, Suphan Buri, Ratchaburi, Ranong, Phang Nga and Trang. I didn't really want to deal with all the rains and was going to spend 2 weeks in Chiang Mai before heading down to Sodom. I changed my plans and will now be going to a spa for a few weeks instead.
