Mind you, I didn't read every thread word for word. I'm not a masochist and I have a life. Any reasonably intelligent person could do a cursory overview and see that one or two posts are of no interest. On other boards, some of the queens who post there just wish to jabber, joust, and attack each other using the most meaningless bullshit as their justification (with references to us, no less). Are so few gay men purchasing companionship these days or is there so little going on in the world that some gay men have nothing better to do or talk about? Are they rock hard with no place to go? One thing to celebrate, is that they don't bring their gripes to MER. We're the only message board to honor Hooboy's memory by naming a forum for him. We try to keep the level of discourse high so as to respect his memory. If you don't have anything creative, sexy, or interesting to say here, then I suggest you join another board, where every once in a while someone just goes on a tirade, If that's what you need, why not get it? The world already has too much noise from unhappy guys, so I hope we can keep MER a place where we have fun posting, and everyone enjoys hearing from each other. Happy Chinese New Year! I'll add to that post by saying it's nice participating in a site that doesn't blacklist, play politics and openly support escorts who make it a point of not being honest about their health. I got my walking papers from dadys site not long ago, but I feel great anyway considering I stood my ground and kept my principal intact. The only thing I am unhappy about is that they are now taking their anger on one of my favorite escorts by holding his reviews back. It's unfortunate that they feel this is the way to handle things. Ok, so you like escort X. Fine, but do you really need to post 17 messages in every single thread about how your favorite escort is going to fulfill your every need while at the same time bringing peace to the middle east and doing his missionary work in the jungles of Papua New Guinea? Makes me want to dig out my retinas with a razor blade. So thank you Oz and Tampa Y and anyone else that I don't know about that works to make this place tick. I would also like to give a shout out to TampaYankee as none of this would be possible without him. He is the backbone of the site. He and I have worked together on this site since the very beginning and we rarely have disagreements. We seem to compliment each other and bring out the best in the other one. I am sure many successful sites have the same flow. I have said for years that I would not have done this site without TY and it is true. He is my ROCK! Much like Deej is Daddy’s rock. When you do a project with someone, you always need to choose carefully and find someone whose integrity is unmatched. I did that when I found TY and it was the best decision I ever made. I have often wondered what the escort world would be like today if Hooboy were still alive and I am sure it would be much different environment. He was preparing to leave his hosting partnership and jump into bed with a well-known escort site. I am not sure how this would have panned out for him but I am sure it would have been exciting to watch. MER is a site that was created with a great deal of love and time and effort. Funny, when I started this thread, I was just going to thank Oz for showing me such a nice time in Pattaya, and joining up with me each night I was there. But,in the back of my head, there was some other "thank you"post rambling around among the loose rocks in my head, and I must have used some of that too when writing.
