TotallyOz Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 The prices for the drinks in Bangkok keep going up. Went last night to two bars and the drink costs were 300 baht. That is now almost 10 USD. Absolutely nuts IMHO. I have never been sure how these places can get away with that here but they do. I stay in Pattaya the majority of time I am in Thailand and the drink prices are at least half of that. Quote

The bar prices have gone up. Why? Well, there are so many Asian tourists (Sigapore and Hong Kong) that don't mind spending that money to see a show. It is cheap to them. For those of us that live here, it is not. But, it is still less than a drink at Splash in NYC! Quote
