Bieber's Bedtime Troubles

Recommended Posts

Young pop star Justin Bieber should fall right to sleep after his busy days, but no, he tells Vanity Fair, he suffers from insomnia. Surely there are many teen girls who would sing a lullaby- he should go for it- over the phone, of course.

From NY Times, via AP, via Vanity Fair:

While many girls dream about Justin Bieber at night, the singing sensation is struggling to fall asleep.

The 16-year-old tells Vanity Fair magazine that sometimes he suffers from insomnia. Bieber says his "mind races" at night and it happens because he begins to "think about all the things I didn't have time to think about during the day — like family and God." Bieber says he doesn't always have time to think about these important things because "you just get caught up (in everything else) during the day."

Bieber's multiplatinum-selling album, "My World 2.0," is up for a Grammy for best pop vocal album; he's also up for best new artist.

The February issue of Vanity Fair hits newsstands in New York and Los Angeles on Jan. 6 and nationally on Jan. 11.

If this is true I do feel bad for him. But I just find what races through his mind hard to believe. I know when I was his age if I rubbed my pleasure tool enough at night I would usually fall asleep pretty quickly :o

Target for critics, pranksters, and parodies

Bieber has often been criticized for looking and sounding younger than his age and his effeminacy, teen pop music, image, and frequent media attention. He has been a frequent target for internet bloggers and message board posters—notably by users of internet message board 4chan, users of YouTube, and various Facebook groups. Pranks have included a successful campaign to push "Justin Bieber Syphilis" to the top of the Google Trends Hot Searches list; hacked YouTube videos that were altered so as to redirect users to adult websites or trigger pop-up messages saying that Bieber had been killed in a car accident; his Last.fm photograph being changed to pornographic images; various rumors circulated, from rumors that Bieber had died, joined a cult, or even that his mother was offered $50,000 to pose topless in Playboy magazine—none of which were true. This all forced the affected companies to update their security protocols to reverse the damage, and Bieber himself tweeted to fans reassuring them that he was still living and that false rumors about his mother "just grossed and weirded [him] out."

Most notable was the campaign to send Bieber to North Korea as part of his world tour . . .

How do you or Wikipedia, for that matter, know so much about this kid? Also, who cares? Not to be callous but the only thing that got my attention was the North Korea bit. That country is totally irresponsible and therefore who and what is said about them is under scrutiny. ^_^

Best regards,

RA1

Why does he look like a lesbian in this Vanity Fair cover?

Whoever his PR people are they sure are not helping this kid sleep by dressing him up as Ellen's younger sister :o

Maybe not - but they sure do a good job of keeping his name front & centre. He (and they) must be raking the $$$ in by the ton.

I am very surprised that Vanity Fair would give him a cover.
