We all have Bucket Lists - lists of places we would love to go to before we kick said bucket.

What countries are on your list?

For me, it's New Zealand and Norway.

Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Japan, Czech Republic, England, Scotland, The Netherlands, and Greece, for varying reasons, some you can guess.

I love to travel but really don't like the airlines. However, some of those places are a bit unrealistic to reach by private aircraft unless money is no object. It is an object for me. ^_^ or :(

Of the places I have been and would like to re-visit, I would include in no particular order:

New Zealand, Australia, Iceland, England, Scotland, Switzerland,Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, many of the Carribbean Islands, Thailand, Crete, Bahrain, and probably a few more I have neglected to mention.

Places that I would like to visit and have not yet include: Brazil, Argentina, Japan, more of China, Russia, more of Greece, South Africa and probably several more I have neglected to mention.

Some of the places I would NOT like to re-visit include: India, Egypt, Pakistan and probably a few others.

In the US and Canada, places that I have particularly enjoyed (although there are very many others) include: Alaska, CYVR, CYYR, CYQX, St. Croix (STX),ORD, BGR, RIC and, again, so many more, I cannot mention them all. Sorry for the airport ID's; in order, they are Vancouver, Goose Bay,LAB, Gander, NFLD, US Virgin Islands, Chicago, Bangor, ME, Richmond, VA, etc.

Best regards,

RA1

I cannot and should not fail to mention NYC and LA. I have friends in both places and, even if they were not wonderful places to visit otherwise, the friends would make them so. ^_^

I have already been to every country on my bucket list, except Ireland, which I plan to visit next year. I have reached the point where I prefer to go back to visit the countries that I have lived in or that have been important to me in the past: England, Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Australia. Several years ago, I realized that I had seen much of the world, but had not been to a lot of places in my own country, so I began to do more domestic travel, and I have now been to every state except Hawaii. There are still many beautiful places I would like to see in the West, especially the national parks. However, I doubt that I could live long enough to see every location that interests me.

Unlike most "bucket list" definitions here – which define places of planetary destination(s) one has yet to visit – and has one reaching outward to places one has never yet been, which seemingly defines life voyages not yet taken as important – Mine reaches inward to where I have been, and to where I have not yet been, and to whom I am now, and most importantly, to whom I am yet not and to where I am going and want to be finally found, understood and finally appreciated when once dead and remembered.

Bucket lists almost always seemingly speak of mortality and self completeness in geographical terms of travel and exposure to those destinations which have never been experienced. An airplane, an island, cheap sauna boys and a different culture is always seemingly involved in all of that.

My bucket list, when I take my last breath and self inventory, will hopefully have represented my journey from within myself which completes me inwardly rather than the lack of physical travels outwardly that provide glimpses of others attempting to do the same things in differing regions of the world, by differing means. Although my completeness, would hopefully be from both perspectives in a perfect world, I suspect and hope it will be from what I learned here as apposed to there.

And so with that said, my bucket list will never hopefully be about me alone - but about how everyone else, view their buckets as a whole to begin with too. And then, hopefully too, later on in their life as a respective.

Well, I have always wanted to hike Mt. Kilimanjaro and then take a safari.

But, the worst thing on my bucket list is to buy a Tuk Tuk and drive around the entire world (beating the Guinness Book of World Records for a Tuk Tuk).

Oz, interesting that you revived this thread. For one, it is proof that I don't reply to every thread (!) and also it shows what a great response Matrix made and how he could have been such a positive force here.

Tripadvisor.com allows reviewers to show a map of the places they have been. Mine is pretty busy with places across Europe, Asia, the US and Canada. I have no desire to see India, Pakistan, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Syria- really any country ruled by despots, except, perhaps, North Korea. I'm so curious about how those cute Korean guys fare on so little food and so little freedom.

Of the places I have been, Alaska is at the top for scenery. It is just beautiful. Thailand interests me the most, with Mexico a close second. And, if I could go to London anytime, I would. The theater is one reason, the history another. Paris is such a great walking city, best visited in August when the French are out of town.

I think one reason we like the internet is that it takes us places where we don't go, right in our own homes. Imagine a google earth tour of the world!

On behalf of Matrix, allow me to suggest this......

It's becoming painfully obvious to me that the gay porn community as a whole, hates successful gay men outside of the gay porn industry. None of them are willing to recognize their mainstream gay peers publicly, even when something like this happens:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9ovwI9pOTs

Gay pride drunken queer parades, floats with live simulated sex shows on those floats with barely naked hot men flaunting in your face public sexual flamboyance of OUR communities sexual behaviors is why many hate us and is why this type shit happens.

They really do hate us because of it! Because they can't compete with it, and so, they refuse to represent and acknowledge our existence.

As long as bare ass naked porn-stars and others of the same ilk continue to define us in public as being mostly only sexual beings - we will continue to reap what we sow.

When, and if, the day ever comes for us where gays are considered main-stream society, by society - it will never have been accomplished because of the fact that we flaunted our tits and ass in public screaming to the world to be recognized because of it. No it won't.

Our unique sexuality may define who we are as a people to US - But it should never be used and exploited in the public face and forum of others to justify the totality of whom we are as a people and a community - to gain and win their approval.

When the day arrives for all of us - where everyone sees us as everyone else – We won't be talking about sexuality – we'll be talking about all of the other things that we're finding reasons not to talk about today because of it.

Choose your battles with conviction and choose your parades carefully with distinction. We're in control of all of them and of our own destiny. Not them.

5, 6. 7, 8.....For a much better video moment - It's here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9ovwI9pOTs

Sweet daddy, have you ever been to the Pride parade in San Francisco or New York?

FIVE HOURS of very normal gays, from church groups to flag wavers to political clubs to government employee groups and on and on. Yes, there is usually a float or two with hot men on it, usually in little clothing, but sex is part of our lives, so why should it not be part of our parades? Even matrix would agree with that.

I don't think the porn stars in the NYC Pride Parade represent me any more than Hillary Clinton walking the entire parade route. People take photos of a very small segment of the parade and think that is the entire parade. Having marched in many parades, I am very happy that we have Hillary marching, the Dikes on Bikes (bare breasted), the Rentboy float, the transvestites and tranny marchers and the gay porn stars. I don't think any group represents me any more than another because for me it is about accepting all groups equally. We are sexual beings thank goodness. We are also the group that keeps Broadway running. We are one of the most active groups in supporting legal rights for all. I can go on and on and I am proud to be a part of such a great group.

I don't think any group should be left out of the parades. It is about acceptance and tolerance for all. IMHO

I think that both Lucky and Oz are so far removed from the real gay community that they really have nothing else to defend than the community which they once hoped theirs would be - but then again gave up on it because hiring is really just taking care of yourself in the end and that's OK too, but it's not community based.

You have no idea of what I hoped a gay community would be. And, while I may be removed from the gay hating queers, I am not removed from those who believe in acceptance and kindness and tolerance.

I don't see porn stars and hiring escorts as the same and while I'll defend both, I don't think you can relate my hiring to porn stars in gay pride parades. But, if you can, please prove me wrong! ^_^

What, pray tell, is the "real gay community"? Is that like the famous "silent majority" that no one could ever find? There are different communities, made up of gays, that sometimes come together, but often have different values, goals and lifestyles, and all are equally "real". I think that for Daddy, the "real" one is only the one that he thinks he belongs to.

Wonder how many names he uses in the "real gay community!"
