Members Lucky Posted November 4, 2010 Members Posted November 4, 2010 Once I hired an escort in New york for an in-call. He gave me his address and said that there was no bell, so I should meet him out front. Turns out that I was meeting him at an SRO, or single room occupancy building. The tacky part was the walk up the stairs and down the hall to the room he was using. The place was dark and creepy. A number of suspicious characters lurked the hallways, all of them gawking a clean cut me going to a room with a guy. Once in the room, it wasn't so bad. It was tiny, but clean. We did the deed, probably in short order as I worried about the thin walls and who outside the door, and I then had to make that return out of the building, but accompanied by the escort. The gawkers all kept looking at me, and I didn't know what they were thinking- probably that I was buying drugs or having hooker sex. (But no drugs!) I think one visit to an SRO was enough for me. As for the escort, I couldn't even tell you what he looked like, it was that special! Quote

Guest zipperzone Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Lucky - that was almost identical to an experience I had. Not almost, IDENTICAL. i found the experience left me feeling very low - as if I had hit rock bottom. Quote
Guest CharliePS Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 The first time I had sex with ANYONE (I was 17, he claimed to be 18 but may have been older) was in an SRO on the Lower East Side, so I tend to equate sleazy places with erotic satisfaction. Quote
BiBottomBoy Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 I'll admit that I find sleazy places hot. Quote
Members JKane Posted November 5, 2010 Members Posted November 5, 2010 I'm not familiar with SRO's, but there is a guy in North Hollywood, contacted him originally through Craig's List (now he's on Rentboy too) that works out of a one-room music studio in a building full of them. I get the feeling he's not supposed to sleep there but does--has a futon he folds down into a bed. Feels kinda odd cleaning up in a restroom afterward... But not nearly as 'low' as the $20/hr motel I used to go to with guys I'd picked up off Santa Monica BLVD. The Royal Hawaiian, on La Brea below Venice. Once found a syringe on the floor (luckily capped) that was still full of something. Still, always far preferred that to trying to do something in my car, especially around Hollywood where it's hard to find anywhere private to park. Quote
BiBottomBoy Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Yeah, car stuff is sketchy. Nobody wants to deal with getting busted by the cops that easily. Quote

Not unless the arresting officer is a hot hunk himself and makes you climb out of the car naked while he checks you for concealed contraband. Quote
