If you're not on twitter get on it! Tell your friends to follow us too. Be the first to know when a new review goes up and hits the splash page. Be the first to know of hot images and hot threads posted in the MER forums without having to actually be here. The new MER twitter feed url is MER Twitter and for reference the url is http://twitter.com//OzzyHooBoy I'm more comfortable with this and think it will be less offensive when tweets are twittered from the site with this new name. I have never used twitter, but if you get this off the ground, what choice will I have? When I first started tweeting, Lucky, I thought to myself "how could this ever be of value?" I opened an account and realized that many people I knew didn't tweet so it was relatively boring and didn't challenge me further in it. But then, I started following escorts and porn stars who escort and it was simply amazing. It's a technology that, at first, requires you to click back and forth to follow conversations amongst followers. Then it becomes addicting. More than porn or cam4. Then you realize, it's how everyone is communicating. Everyone who follows you, follows some else. When you tweet, suddenly it's a communication that touches hundreds, thousands, hundreds of thousands, and in some cases, millions of people. With MER and the age of the ones we hire and adore, this is how they communicate with one another. Look at the kids around you - your family's kids, etc. These devices are attached to them. As my OP suggested, with twitter, we could make this site a full fledged destination for people who have never heard of us, or even hire escorts. The forums alone, the reviews, the splash page info is what can be spread to people of same interest through twitter. I'll further this post if anyone wants to chime in with their experience - but this can only be a good thing for MER. Get the escorts on board and there will have never been a greater way to publish THEIR services than thru twitter And MER. Sure, there are some that will not participate, but from my experience, if you're looking for clients and escorts openingly buying time through Rentboy, etc; then if your review gets twittered to the masses, there isn't any better way of putting yourself out there. Wouldn't sending a tweet about each and every site update be rather massive? I'd love to have the info, but I tried subscribing to the forum e-mail notifier and was lost in the deluge of update messages so I had to turn it off rather quickly. I do like that I can get an e-mail update message to a thread in which I posted. If there were just some filters so I could just see new reviews and profiles for my state (CA) or selected cities I'm interested in, this would be an awesome feature. But I can't envision following an "all updates" feed - just too much to sort through. Couldn't these updates be added as an RSS feed as well? That way I can use my RSS reader filters to suss out the things I'm interested and just catch up with the rest when I visit the site. The only RSS content is Community Calendar - content nonexistent and MaleEscortReview Blogs - last content posted Sep '09 by Seattlebottom.
