Members Lucky Posted October 11, 2010 Members Posted October 11, 2010 Yahoo News tells us the plan to rescue the Chilean miners tomorrow. It's going to be a long and tedious process, and even when rescued their new ordeal will just begin. It will be quite an adjustment for both miners and families. I hope it all goes well. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20101011/ap_on_re_la_am_ca/lt_chile_mine_collapse Quote
Members MsGuy Posted October 12, 2010 Members Posted October 12, 2010 I've been following this story myself, Lucky. Even thought about posting something here. I'm not big on praying but, yes, it's a remarkable tale. I wonder how many Made For TV movie producers have flown in to sign up the miners? Quote
Guest zipperzone Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 I too hope and pray for a safe recovery. Being claustrophobic myself, I can't imagine a worse ordeal. I wonder if they will all be still talking to each other after the rescue. It seems impossible that they all got along for such a long time. Quote
Guest FourAces Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 Reports from MSNBC and CNN they are starting to argue about who will be first and last out of the mine. Both positions are considered more historic than just getting out. From profile pics posted on CNN I can see that many of these poor guys are quite good looking. I have been following their sage from the start and am so happy they remain safe and seemingly healthy and hope all goes well as they are brought out. Quote

I have faith and look forward to a successful rescue. I can only imagine the prayers coming from those trapped and their loved ones. Situations like this could make even an agnostic pray for mercy. I will include those affected in my prayers today. It seems though their prayers have already been heard and have begun to be answered. :-) Quote
