Guest zipperzone Posted October 8, 2010 Share Posted October 8, 2010 Maybe I'm a little dim or perhaps I just have to hear it more than a couple of times, but I have the distinct impression that the membership would prefer to read interesting and profound discussions rather than having to wade through "endless" postings of hot men. When I became active on this board sometime this past summer, it occurred to me that a little spice would not be amiss. As I genuinely enjoy finding pictures on the internet of what I consider to be desirable men and enjoy even more the sharing of same, I thought I would attempt to inject a bit of said spice and try to "entertain the troops" as it were. Apparently my enthusiasm is not shared by all. Matrix has made it abundantly clear how much he feels their inclusion has destroyed the integrity of the forum (although I'm not sure how much weight I should give to his presumably alcohol fuelled rants on various subjects). Lately, Lucky has voiced similar opinions and this has caused me to feel that perhaps a good many more may feel the same way. I must say in my own defence that I categorically reject the idea that posting of pictures by myself, Lurker, or any other member is a valid reason to explain the lack of verbal participation on the board. IMO it is more likely due to a general apathy which is probably caused both by laziness and a lack of interest in the topics posted. Intellectual discussions are few and far between and as much as I hate to admit it, I feel that over at "The Other Board" there is a much livelier bunch participating and the subjects discussed are of more interest. It is possible that this is no longer the case as I have no recent knowledge of their activity, having abandoned Daddy & deej quite some time ago. I have always been a person who does not wish to intrude where he is not welcome. I am also a great believer of not "Staying too long at the party" I will continue to be a visitor to these forums but I would genuinely appreciate hearing from TY and/or OZ as to what their wishes are with regards to my continuing to post pictures. After all - it is their site and they should have the final say. We enjoy your contributions and look forward to them everyday. Please do not discontinue your contributions. We heard from many of you and we recognize that different folks have different needs and interests. We do not see why we cannot accomodate everyone to some extent. We will be creating a new forum for Pics and Vids. Oz is working on it when not working on his boys. We hope to have it up quickly. The final operational details will be announced regarding where posts should originally be made. Again, thanks for your contributions and keep em coming. After all - it is their site and they should have the final say. While we are the admins for the site, we do not discourage anyone from posting what they want to post. I enjoy your photos a great deal and hope you continue. That being said, we are trying to revamp some of the forums and have thought about combining the 2nd Forum about Escorts to include photo galleries. No decision has been made but we most defiantly don't want those that post photos to stop posting them. We had one very long thread about the photos and it seemed to me there was no consensus. It seemed part wanted them to stay apart of this forum and part wanted them to have their own forum. I am very flexible and will do what the membership wants. If you get a bunch of picture posts on the same day this means that topics of interest are often pushed to the second page and not seen by the majority of the community. Also, what are we supposed to say when someone makes a picture post? "Cute guy" is a pretty boring comment to make and does not foster discussion. I also LOVE to look at the pictures and find it no problem to go to a seperate forum where you can view till your hearts content. Also I agree with many that the picture posts push down the viable commentable threads that are started in the main forum.People just are real good and looking through a whole page of threads to find one they may not have viewed. I tend to know when I was online last and look for threads that have responses since the last time online. Just my two cents, however I had voiced them before. Thanks to TY and OZ for offering a site with some civil conversation and on that is willing to take the posters thoughts and requests into consideration. Please do not go all EXPAT on us and quit because someone said something you didn't like. I like you too. For me, it's just a question of moderation. Nude guy pix are all over the internet. One can find them with ease. I never get tired of looking at them, but I do get tired of dead threads that go nowhere.
