Sure, your post piqued my curiosity as I'm sure it did many others. I really do not have much interest in what goes on over there surely, with the drama and food fights and management tantrums. So, for me, it was easy to move on from your cryptic post.

However, this was not about those site issues, this was about the very questionable behavior of an escort in his professional activities. How could anything be more germane??????????????? The fact that it first surfaced over there is inconsequential.

Coy about specifics only because I was weighing whether to bring the subject up at all. We are told that we should sometimes wait to post, but when I did Mr. Yankee got his goose in a gander thinking I was hiding something. MsGuy is right- it was the foreclosure issue and the question of what good faith donations were asked for and received in order to prevent or delay it. I chose not to go into the question, but since Mr. Yankee is predisposed to find fault with me, I couldn't win either way I went. He and I did not get along so well back in the Hooville days and he does not want to let that go. See, for example, his comments in the kindergarten thread on September 13th when even my nemesis matrix told him he was overreacting.

Beyond that, even if it were about Driver, my concerns are my concerns. If I decide that I don't want to be the one to bring it up, I am not "off-base." But Mr. Yankee just couldn't resist.

As for the thread you mention, I was rebuked by Matrix for 'over interpreting ' your remark to him. I left it at that.

Just call me sensitive. Given the recently prior exchanges between you two and given the sensitivities expressed online over it in its final throes, and given that it has happened in the past that bait has been cast upon the waters, even subtle bait, and given that I do not know beforehand how someone will perceive and respsond to what might be bait, I decided to step in between to deflect potential follow up. I took the black eye -- a cost well worth paying for avoiding other potential outcomes.

It is not always easy to glean intent from the posted word. We are all prisoners of past experience. I may have overreacted in that instance, however, it was not of my doing alone as the condtioning had already been put in place, and not just by me.

I feel bad that Daddy has his house foreclosed on. I have had this happen to friends and it is a horrible situation. I would not wish it on anyone. I will say that months ago, I did make an offer to him that would have stopped the foreclosure. If the house were his primary concern, the issue could have been resolved. However, his main concern is the site. And, I respect that direction a great deal. That being said, when you make those kind of decisions or choices, you can't expect others to feel sorry for you. I read this post for the first time today and my reaction to it was he was not wanting others to pity him or feel sorry for him. He seems to have accepted the consequences of his decisions and has moved on. He also thanked those that tried to help him via the donation to daddy thing.

As for Noah. I read all that too. I will say I am disappointed that he kept the money and didn't return it immediately. He said he was trying to get in touch with the guy. Well, it is always easy to return money the same way you got it. That should not have been hard to do at all.

Noah is very sexy and I would still hire him. And, yes, he is still on my list of guys I want to see. I would never pay him or anyone else in advance. I think that is nuts and anyone that does it is not thinking straight.

I have also been clear over the years that I have a great deal of fondness for Noah's friend Ben. I think Ben is a world class escort and probably a great role model for Noah. But, Noah is young and he can easily repair this situation and his reputation. We all have done stupid things in the past and not known how to get out of them. Noah is young. He will survive this. If he continues to escort, he will learn a great deal from this experience (if he is smart). We can't ask much more from him than to rectify the situation, apologize and move forward.

For clients, we can't ask much more than to never pay a fee in advance. I can't imagine anyone reading this message would do such a thing. I would not. However, if I were finally able to get Mike Stefano out of retirement for a weekend, I'll most likely pay in advance. So, even the wisest of us do stupid things from time to time.

There are some guys I would pay...if I could...just to get their attention. But the news on Noah Driver is surely disappointing and I could not imagine hiring hi if these facts bear out. But, as jimboiyvo points out, most of those bitching never would have been hiring him anyway. So let's wish him the best and hope he gets things in order.

As for Daddy, when he first met me in a restaurant in Seattle not long after Hooboy's death, he told me his plan to get donations rolling in. So he may have accepted the consequences of his decision to go to foreclosure, but I sure wonder where those donations went.

My two cents:

We all spend our money on things that are our priorities, things that make us happy, and things that we believe are either necessary or our obligations.

Donating money to Daddy or paying Noah Driver upfront would be extremely low on my list and definitely not in one of the above categories... so I won't do it. But I wouldn't judge others who do if they have the money and it's truly theirs to spend. There's some stuff that I do with my money that makes me really happy and is high priority to me that I am sure would make people question my sanity and talk behind my back about... wait, they already do!

I do freely confess to checking the spelling but then I have to do that 2 or 3 times on most posts and still miss misspelled words.
