Members axiom2001
Thank you so much for that article. It gives me several ideas for my next trip! I ditto TotallyOz's comments. Although I've done a "cultural route" of Rio-- I still would like to experience a "heavy dosage" of Lapa on a Friday night. In 2002 Ernani, a guide and escort at the time who had a well-paying job during the day, and I went to Lapa, but we merely meandered around throughout the throngs of folks for almost two hours, never venturing into any restaurants or clubs. I want to do both of the latter activities the next time I'm in Rio. I want to do a lot of different things yet a few that I've done previously. Rio de janeiro is my most favorite city in this world of ours!
