Yes most bars have to close at 1 a.m. A popular after hours place is GOD Disco which is o Silom Road in a small Soi (side road) between Sois 2 and 4. There are a number of gay karaoke places around as well. The number of youthful Caucasians is quite small in Bangkok though there are many mature ones. I am a local Thai living here in Bangkok Of course, most of the clubs here are closed at 1 am but you still can enjoy massage or sauna after the clubs closed. Silom is the street that you can find caucation hang out in Bangkok, but if you don't mind to take a bus ride for 2 hrs, you can enjoy the beach as well as gay bars in Pattaya city If you need any information concerning about bangkok or Pattaya you can send e-mail or chat with me at mthai_c@hotmail.com.
