TotallyOz Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 I learned that as soon as the site is working without a hitch, I need to upgrade so that lookin gets confused (I like people confused and I feel more at home in my own confusion). AdamSmith and lookin 2 Quote

Guest EXPAT Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 I learned in the Casper thread why so many escorts don't want to post here. exactly. But it also should teach new escorts how "not to approach a new potential client base". Unfortunately his response to what he thought was a contentious post was really really bad and didn't leave a good impression at all regardless of the reason for the post. In one of the other posts when a new escort asked for advice, I said, don't create any controversy or participate in controversial threads because he can't win in that scenario. This Casper thread is a good example of what new escorts shouldn't do IMO. Quote

TotallyOz Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 I learned that although I have vision problems, my eyesight is much better than a teenage girl driving her parents car for the first time. One lane. Two lanes. Three lands. Four lanes. They are all the same to her! Quote

Members MsAnn Posted August 5, 2014 Members Posted August 5, 2014 I learned that some of the posters here are unbelievably funny, clever, bright, and logging on most likely will find me laughing after reading only few posts. Guest gcursor Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 Depressingly I learned that I do not know what "matting a photo" means. I want to enter a local photo contest in a few days with some of my pics just to see what would happen. I've explored online all about matting photos and found a few places so we'll see if I can get it together or not. Quote
Guest hitoallusa Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 Oh my Gcursor I hope you get your awesome photos entered.. Please post of the pics after the contest.. =3 Quote

Members lookin Posted January 1, 2015 Members Posted January 1, 2015 I learned that, just when you think OZ's past can't get any more colorful, it does. So many childhood memories I could talk about.Just one that occurs instantly, one Xmas we went to my grandma and papi's house all together to find the door busted in. Everyone immediately rushed down a trail behind the house to find the moonshine mill was blown up by the feds. Santa still came that year but the adults were not as happy as they normally were on Xmas! TotallyOz and MsGuy 2 Quote

Members MsGuy Posted January 1, 2015 Members Posted January 1, 2015 I learned the cute kitty meme dates back to at least 1932. It's from a cigarette ad and, no, I don't have the foggiest how a cat in a dress carrying an umbrella relates to cigs. AdamSmith and lookin 2 Quote
Members MsGuy Posted January 2, 2015 Members Posted January 2, 2015 Grandpa Walton sucked Harry Hay's dick.1 "Don't mind her. She's just my fag hag." Wow, not only full bore queer but getting it on with the biggest commie faggot of his time! Of course Hay did drift away from the party after the Central Committee dumped him. If I remember right, Hay got himself purged from the CPUSA for persistent buggery. Seems the party line was that homosexuality was a decadent perversion brought on by capitalism But still... ==== And now I'm getting the feeling I knew all this already (about Greer, I mean; Hay I remembered). The really sad thing about senility is you forget you've got it. 1 Geer was also the lover of gay activist Harry Hay.[3] In 1934, Hay met Geer at the Tony Pastor Theatre, where Geer worked as an actor. They became lovers, and Hay credited Geer as his political mentor.[4] Hay and Geer participated in a milk strike in Los Angeles, where Hay was first exposed to radical gay activism in the person of "Clarabelle," a drag queen who held court in the Bunker Hill neighborhood, who hid Hay from police. Later that year, Hay and Geer performed in support of the San Francisco General Strike. MsAnn, AdamSmith and lookin 3 Quote
AdamSmith Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Fascinating!
