TotallyOz Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Lurkerspeaks said in another thead: "Thanks again to everyone who posts, reads, and most of all, LURKS around here..hopefully one day soon they will take the plunge and SPEAK for themselves. " It made me wonder the meaning behind others screen names here. I'll start. I have a Master's Degree in Education. That was way before I went to law school. Anyway, I was always fascinated with the Wizard of Oz. I have every book, CD, doll, plate, figurine, etc I can get my hands on. I have been an die hard collector of all things Wizard of Oz for many many years. My Master's Thesis was on the Wonderful Wizard of Oz. All my friends always told me, you are just totally oz aren't you? Thus, my screen name. I am TotallyOz. I am not from Australia like some think at first glance. I know I may have that rugged outback look to some that meet me. But, I am a lover of L. Frank Baum and his MANY books with amazing fantastical characters. What about you? What is the story of your name? Quote
Members lookin Posted August 31, 2010 Members Posted August 31, 2010 Only thing is though, I meant my screen name to have a capital "L". When I went back to fix it, it was too late. Ah, well. Still having fun! Quote
Members OneFinger Posted September 1, 2010 Members Posted September 1, 2010 My screen name represents my response to people that piss me off. Fortunately, my screen name and real life (up to now) are very different. Face-to-face I find very few people that really make me mad. But, in cyberspace, there seems to be a plethora of guys who delight in pushing buttons. To them, I respond with my screen name. Quote
Guest FourAces Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 After I found out Tampa Yankee had been taken I was devastated I am not sure why I picked Four Aces other than the association to my love of playing poker. But while four aces is a good hand to hold its only the third best. I've thought about changing it even as recent at the start of the August Challenge but too lazy to think of something different at this point. I like Lookin's name ... do you wanna sell it? Quote
Members manticore Posted September 1, 2010 Members Posted September 1, 2010 Manticore means man-eater. (anyone remember the Lion Pub (SF) t-shirts from around 30 years ago?) Quote

Members lookin Posted September 1, 2010 Members Posted September 1, 2010 I like Lookin's name ... do you wanna sell it? Cheaper than you think, my friend. I don't get why you would want to change FourAces though. It's a great name, pops off the screen, ties to an important part of your life, suggests a charmed existence, and carries a history of great posts along with it. Still, if you decide the grass is greener, Lookin can be yours for a song. So to speak. (I'd have to hang on to my avatar though, as he is family.) Quote
Guest zipperzone Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Guess I use zipperzone as it describes the area that holds the most attraction for me. Quote

Members MsGuy Posted September 1, 2010 Members Posted September 1, 2010 I'm not sure that Royal Flush would have been more flattering. And StraightFlush would have been inappropriate for this board. Quote

Members JKane Posted September 1, 2010 Members Posted September 1, 2010 I'm not very creative and wanted an alternate identity to maintain discreteness while traversing the escort hiring world, I initially picked the last name off an underwear ad. Changed it a bit when I realized people made assumptions based on it (like that I was Jewish, not that there's anything wrong with that). I can answer to James and kinda enjoy it during sex (touch of James Bond...), still not used to people shortening my "name" to Jim though. It does feel a touch odd with friends from the boards--have told several my real name but they see me as James and that's fine too. It's very useful when pesky, unprofessional escorts I've hired/contacted before call out of the blue to ask if I'd like a session, when somebody says "Hi James" I know it's conversation I probably don't want to have at work, for example. Or if somebody were to answer my phone for some reason on a call like that, they'd hopefully think the caller had the wrong number. Quote
Members Lucky Posted September 1, 2010 Members Posted September 1, 2010 After sleeping with both Johann Paulik and Lukas Ridgeston one night, I decided that I must be Lucky- after all, they were the two hottest porn stars at the time! Now when I say sleep with, what the fact is that we did sleep together. I was in one row on the plane, and they were in another. And, if you are wondering how they look in the morning after a red-eye flight, well, the answer is scrumptious! Quote
Members Lucky Posted September 1, 2010 Members Posted September 1, 2010 Lukas was lookin a little younger then! He still a handsome guy, or was when I met him a few years ago: Sorry for the double post. I didn't know you had to click "attach" Quote
Members Lucky Posted September 1, 2010 Members Posted September 1, 2010 Lukas was lookin a little younger then! He still a handsome guy, or was when I met him a few years ago: The next photo in the queue is me with my arm around him. But you just want to see Lukas, right? Quote
TotallyOz Posted September 1, 2010 Author Posted September 1, 2010 After sleeping with both Johann Paulik and Lukas Ridgeston one night, I met one of the boys above during their heyday and was able to score a hour alone with them. It cost me 2500 US. But, worth every penny. I can see why you are Lucky Lucky. I would have loved to be in the middle of the two of them in bed, on a plane, or just in a photo. Quote
Members Lucky Posted September 1, 2010 Members Posted September 1, 2010 Hooboy wrote me once that his big regret was never meeting Lukas Ridgeston! Quote
Guest CharliePS Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 My college roommate once referred to me as a "Cheerful Charlie," and the nickname stuck--some of my classmates thought Charlie was my real name. It seemed a natural choice when I first joined the MB in Hooville. When I tried to register here, I discovered that "Charlie" was already taken (?I haven't seen any posts by that handle), so I added PS for Palm Springs. Quote

When you first joined, I checked to see if the name was in use. If it was not in use, I would have deleted it for you. But, the name is taken by an escort who is still active and updates his profile and keeps up with the site. He doesn't post in the forums though. If I had taken the name my family and friends called me when I was younger, my name would be Reverend. I'll let you guess why. Quote

Members KYTOP Posted September 2, 2010 Members Posted September 2, 2010 I always enjoyed things or words with double meanings, Therefore KY.... It stands for the State in which I was born and very proud of (Kentucky) and also for a very known brand of lube. The last part because I am a TOP. Thus KY_TOP. Quote
Guest Matrix Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Since life, if you're lucky, is an evolution of experiences and growth which stem from the past and branch to the future, I chose matrix. Not as interesting as some others, but i like it. Quote
