Members pauleiro Posted June 24, 2012 Author Members Posted June 24, 2012 I was asked the way to go to Tiergarten The action is around the Lowenbrucke (black circle in the picture), around the tennis tables (red circle in the picture) and in the bushes around. The place is relatively easy to reach, going to Tiergarten metro station (S), then taking Strass des 17 Juni on the right and entering at the first entry (there is a building) to take Bremer weg. The Bridge is around 10 minutes walking from the station Tiergarten S. Have fun Quote

Members axiom2001 Posted June 30, 2012 Members Posted June 30, 2012 Pauleiro, you are better than Spartacus. Vielen dank! Glutes, I think you, Pauleiro, and some of the rest of us are definitely better than SPARTACUS. I came to this conclusion some years back when I read the mess which this guide book had about Brasil [Rio de janeiro specially]. Apparently the same applies to other cities as well! [Thanks for allowing me to respond, and I applaud and thank Pauleiro and TomCal for their updates on some European cities!] Quote
Guest bbowlgt Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Hey Pauleiro in an European context does "Active" always = TOP and "Passive" always = Bottom? Quote
Members pauleiro Posted July 14, 2012 Author Members Posted July 14, 2012 Hey Pauleiro in an European context does "Active" always = TOP and "Passive" always = Bottom? It is correct. In Czech, the question is "jsi aktivni nebo passivni ?" (are you active or passive ?) Quote
Members axiom2001 Posted July 16, 2012 Members Posted July 16, 2012 Food Porn...so sorry if I made anyone hungry for a different type of sausage. I love ihpguy's response here! It is so choice! - - - For I was one of those individuals who was "hungry for a different type of sausage." But currently I'm working on receiving the biggest of "sausages" when I am in Berlin for almost a week in September prior to my tour. Quote
Members axiom2001 Posted April 17, 2014 Members Posted April 17, 2014 When I read "sausage"-- you know where my mind instantly ventured, but again, you mentioned "food hall," so the vision immediately dissipated. At any rate I will make sure that I write down the information and go there and savor in the offerings as well as take photos. Thank you! I stayed in a wonderful apartment which was about two blocks from the KaWeDe, and when I did go to this gorgeous, very upscale department store, I fell in love with it, everything! Unfortunately, there was nothing that I really had a desire to purchase, but I did manage to have a lovely lunch at one of the small, restaurants; that afternoon I had Japanese which was cooked right in front of me while I sat on the stool observing my environs and the people in general!
