Guest wowpow Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 Department of Intellectual Property Meeting. Pattaya City News On Friday a meeting conducted by the Department of Intellectual Property was held at the Town-In-Town hotel in central Pattaya and attended by 200 of the highest ranking and most alert police from Region 2 Chonburi. The chairman Lieutenant General Goson, deputy commander of police for Region 2, opened the meeting and then handed over the podium to Khun Somsuk, a professional in the field of intellectual copyright. He gave a riveting lecture about the evils of copy shirts, copy music CDs and DVDs and copy movie DVDs and how it was vitally important to stamp out this flourishing trade in Thailand and especially around Pattaya. Khun Somsuk said the illegal copy trade was a blot on Pattaya’s wonderful reputation as a city catering to family tourism as well as daytime and evening athletic pursuits. Pattaya City News Quote
TotallyOz Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 When I saw your posting I thought you were referring to the Dicks in Pattaya meeting that encourages those from the outter provinces to bring their sexiest boys to Pattaya for low season. I guess you missed that meeting at Corner Bar last week. There was even an amendment to pay extras for the larger appendages. That amendment did not pass but there were some other ones that did. Please see the minutes of the meeting for actual details. Quote
Guest wowpow Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 GayThailand - sorry for the confusion. I just thought it very funny. I am not sure what meeting at corner bar you are talking about - sounds like bar owners? Perhaps you can say where to find the website please? Quote
Bob Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 That's funny, when I saw the posting, my first thought was that maybe it was about David in Pattaya (a grand guy who's no longer with us). We used to refer to him as DIP on some of the boards. Quote
