Guest tomcal Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 I have posted a couple pics before taken at this sauna but these are much better and gives those who have never been to a Brazilian sauna a "feel" for what they are like. This is a suana that was built from the ground up as a Sauna rather than a renovation of a existing building as the rest of them appear to be so the layout is better. there are 15 "rooms" all with either queen or king size beds and showers/baths and one with a jacuzzi. The bar area is large with stage in one corner although the strippers seem to dance on the long bar more. The Glass showers wrap around one side and those tables are usually the first to be taken so that you get a up close and personal looks the guys who shower frequently so that you will notice them! Staring is encouraged! lol I am going back for Memorial day weekend and can't wait. The owner also employs a chef who makes restaurant quality dishes! I love the saunas in Rio especially Meo Mundo and Club 117 but this sauna is by far my favorite for a number of reasons! Quote
Members TampaYankee Posted May 17, 2010 Members Posted May 17, 2010 This is an extemely nice place, clean, open, airy, plenty of light -- easy to see and be seen. Thanks for shattering my preconceptions in a good way. Quote
Members axiom2001 Posted May 22, 2010 Members Posted May 22, 2010 Where is this particular sauna located, and what's its name? At first I thought it was Point 2002, but it's too good looking and welcoming to be that particular one! Quote
