I think much more is made out of his performance than should be. Fuck ABC! Not suprising. I don't blame them. He broke a confidence that, whether or not it should, causes them a lot of unnecessary grief from segements of the public, more importantly from the FCC probably and most importantly from advertisers. It was a mistake on his part if he really wanted these types of gigs. If not then no big deal. It wasn't that he was unaware of potential blowback with the Janet Jackson history. Chalk it up to youthful poor judgement. Quote
Guest EXPAT Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 After a flurry of stupid press releases by GLAAD this week and a lot of fan feedback, ABC has granted Adam Lambert a spot on The View on Thursday, Dec 10. However, because they wanted his interview after Barbra Walter's 10 Most Fascinating people which is on ABC Wednesday night, they are having to pre-tape Adam's interview and performance before Thursday's show. So this will be one of the only times that a mid-week VIEW episode to be partially taped. Their Friday shows are always taped in advance. Usually the Monday - thursday shows are live (for the east coast feed). Quote
Members markgordon Posted January 29, 2010 Members Posted January 29, 2010 I could get a whole lot more concerned about Adam Lambert's career if I actually thought he had any talent. To me, he's all about production & choreography, his singing is more like screeching. Quote
